Why In The Himalayas

The Himalayas is uniquely young and fascinating. It is totally distinct from any other mountain range of the world. It’s gigantic massif spreads across five countries, making an arc of 2,400 km (1500ml) long. It also meausres nine of the highest peak in the world, and the tallest being the Mount Everest.
The Himalaya is also the youngest mountain range in the world. Further, the Buddhist and the Hindu culture also believes the massif to be divine.
 This great massif is also a source to the world’s major rivers – the Indus, the Ganges and the Brahmaputra. This further nurtures a rich and diverse flora, faunas, and the wild lives such as the one-horned rhinos, red pandas, the Bengal tigers and a huge species of birds that range to more than 850 in numbers.
